With so many places to choose from, picking a restaurant in Disney World can be overwhelming. Add to that the fact that you’re working with a limited schedule and limited reservation availability, and it can seem downright impossible to choose the right spot!To help narrow down your list, we’ve picked a few of our favorite table-service restaurants in each of the parks to help make your next trip decision a bit easier! The Best Restaurant in Magic Kingdom: Liberty Tree Tavern

Tucked away in Liberty Square, Liberty Tree Tavern is a favorite among guests — and for a good reason! Home to an all-you-care-to-enjoy menu, Liberty Tree Tavern offers comfort food that will please even some of the pickier eaters in the family. Inspired by the days of Colonial America, Liberty Tree Tavern is a living homage to the founding fathers, complete with all the fixings. You can smell the delicious roasted turkey, pot roast, and pork served with mashed potatoes and vegetables as you enter the restaurant.

Plus, the meal isn’t finished with the Patriot Platter. Don’t forget to try their Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream! You might wonder why we selected this as our favorite at Magic Kingdom when there are so many table-service options. Overall, we find it offers guests a pretty great value for the cost! The restaurant offers both lunch and dinner, and each costs a flat rate of $42 per adult, or $23 per child (plus tax and gratuity). It’s also an eligible restaurant on the Disney Dining Plan.

Pros:

  • Pricing is a major pro. Compare the $42/adult, $23/child rate versus another option such as Be Our Guest, which is $70/adult, $41/child.
  • The location! Liberty Square is an often underrated part of the park, and the theming of Liberty Tree Tavern makes it a particularly unique spot to visit within Magic Kingdom.

Cons:

  • We aren’t the only ones who enjoy Liberty Tree Tavern, and it can get busy. If you have trouble finding an advanced dining reservation, you can always give the Walk-Up Wait List a try day ofon the My Disney Experience app.

Honorable Mention for Magic Kingdom: Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen

Love Jungle Cruise? If you can’t get enough of your puns and jungle theming, then head over to Adventureland, where you’ll find Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen. Skipper Canteen will take guests on a culinary journey led by your skipper, a.k.a. your waiter or waitress. Inspired by Dr. Albert Falls himself from the Jungle Cruise, this restaurant is quite immersive, and there are endless details that fans of Jungle Cruise will be able to spot in every corner of the restaurant.

Skipper Canteen’s menu features items on the menu such as Sustainable Fish (“Not Pirahna”), Baa Baa Lamb Chops, and “Tastes like Chicken” Because it is! Skipper Canteen is unlike any other restaurant in Magic Kingdom and has become a major fan-favorite for many guests to the park who consider it one of the best Disney World restaurants. It’s also an eligible restaurant on the Disney Dining Plan.

Pros:

  • The theming is incredible! Jungle Cruise fans will find countless homages to the iconic attraction in the restaurant.
  • The menu has a variety of options, with food you won’t find in many other places in Disney World.

Cons:

  • Pickier eaters who prefer traditional theme park fare may not find something they love on the menu.

The Best Restaurant in EPCOT: La Hacienda de San Angel

A visit to EPCOT isn’t complete without a trip around the World (Showcase). One of our favorite stops in World Showcase is the Mexico Pavilion. From the beautiful pyramid to the cutest ride (Gran Fiesta Tour!) and the tequila bar, La Cava de Tequila, there’s so much to explore in this pavilion.An awesome dining option at EPCOT is La Hacienda de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion. Not to be confused with the San Angel Inn, which is located inside the pyramid, this restaurant is located outside the pyramid on World Showcase Lagoon. From the moment you enter the building, you feel like you’ve stepped foot in Mexico!

Whether you start your meal with a famous, handcrafted Margarita or with Chips, Queso, and Salsa, this meal is not to be missed. A few of our favorites on the menu include the Alambre de Res and the Osso Buco a la Mexicana. Plus, don’t forget about dessert. Ever had corn ice cream? The unique flavor is definitely worth a try! Why is this our favorite in EPCOT? Location, location, and location! With large windows overlooking the lagoon, La Hacienda de San Angel offers amazing fireworks views. Plus, with dishes ranging from $29 to $54, you can grab a relatively affordable meal. It’s also an eligible restaurant on the Disney Dining Plan.

Pros:

  • The pricing is reasonable, especially for a table-service restaurant at EPCOT’s World Showcase. Plus, the menu is delicious!
  • Has a PRIME location! Located right on World Showcase Lagoon, you can get an excellent view of the fireworks at night.

Cons:

  • Can get busy! Advanced dining reservations are popular for La Hacienda de San Angel, so if you aren’t able to snag one in advance, try your luck for the Walk-Up Wait List on the My Disney Experience app.

Honorable Mention for EPCOT: Chefs de France

If you are looking for another spot in the World Showcase to enjoy a delicious meal, why not try Chefs de France in the France Pavilion. Inspired by a charming Paris cafe, Chefs de France offers a unique menu for guests to enjoy.

While a la carte is an option, guests can also select a prix fixe meal for $65.95, including an appetizer, entrée, dessert, and a glass of Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon or a non-alcoholic beverage. This prix fixe menu includes the Boeuf Bourguignon, Gratin de Macaroni, and the Filet de Saumon. It’s also an eligible restaurant on the Disney Dining Plan.

Pros:

  • Beautiful location and atmosphere
  • Delicious menu and food, with French-inspired dishes that will make you feel like you’ve stepped into a little Parisian cafe.

Cons:

  • Expensive. The prix fixe meal is $65.95 per person (for either lunch or dinner), and a la carte entrée options range from $24.95 to $40.95.

The Best Restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Hollywood & Vine

Strike a pose with your favorite characters while you , located at Echo Lake in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. With rotating, seasonally themed dinners (such as Minnie’s Springtime Dine and Minnie’s Summertime Dine) this unique option is perfect for adults and children alike.Hosted by Minnie herself, guests can visit Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto, all of whom are decked out in their seasonal best. But, the characters are only part of the fun that abounds at Hollywood & Vine. This buffet meal offers guests choices such as roasted pork, oven-roasted chicken, macaroni and cheese with shrimp and bacon, and caramelized Brussels sprouts, among many other items. Also included in this buffet meal is a dessert option.

Why Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios? There are a few reasons. First, while lunch and dinner are $63 for adults and $40 per child, keep in mind this is a buffet, so you will get your bang for your buck (breakfast is $47 for adults and $30 per child). You’ll also get to meet characters in exclusive outfits which you can’t find anywhere else, lending to this unique experience. It’s also an eligible restaurant on the Disney Dining Plan.

Pros:

  • The characters are a major pro of Hollywood and Vine, with the chance to meet with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto. This is made even better by the fact that the character dining changes seasonally, so depending on when you visit, you’ll get to see different theming (and the characters in different themed costumes!).
  • Buffet dining! The menu includes a variety of dishes, so you’re sure to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Cons:

  • As a character dining option, this can be a very hard reservation to obtain. You’ll want to make sure to aim to get an advanced dining reservation at the 60-day mark to ensure you grab your spot!

Honorable Mention for Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant

If it’s a unique experience you’re looking for, there are few spots more unique than Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Located near Commissary Lane, this tucked-away restaurant takes its inspiration from the 50s-style drive-in movie theaters.

Diners can sit in car-shaped booths and watch different scenes from old sci-fi movies. Aside from the incredibly cool atmosphere, you’ll get the chance to enjoy items such as the Pan-Seared Salmon Pasta, the Feature Film Burger, and the Drive-in BBQ Burger. It’s also an eligible restaurant on the Disney Dining Plan.

Pros:

  • The atmosphere is SUPER unique, with theming that makes this a very one-of-a-kind dining experience.

Cons:

  • While the atmosphere is very cool, the food is a bit less memorable.

The Best Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Yak and Yeti Restaurant

While roaming a quiet village, guests will come upon a home that was transformed into a restaurant — the Yak and Yeti Restaurant! Not to be confused with Yak and Yeti Local Foods, which is a quick-service option, Yak and Yeti Restaurant is located nearby in the Asia section of Animal Kingdom. Yak and Yeti Restaurant dishes from across Asia. Whether you order the Lo Mein Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Korean Beef, or Hibachi Steak and Shrimp, there’s something for everyone from every region of Asia. And don’t forget dessert! Items such as the fried wontons are a hit that shouldn’t be missed.

Why Yak and Yeti at Animal Kingdom? Aside from offering delicious food, Yak and Yeti is also pretty easy to get reservations for. If you’re having trouble getting reservations on My Disney Experience or the Disney World website, there’s another way you can grab them — a Landy’s Select Club card. You can purchase a Landry’s card for $25, and will gain access to a variety of Landry’s restaurants for life. Among these restaurant options are a few different Disney World locations, including Yak and Yeti, as well as Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex. With a Landry’s card, you can walk up and request a table day of even without a reservation. It’s a cool little perk that gives you easier access to a fantastic meal! It’s also an eligible restaurant on the Disney Dining Plan.

  • Beautiful, detailed theming
  • Reasonable pricing
  • Perks if you are a Landry’s cardholder

Cons:

  • Location can be a little confusing to find

Meet your favorite characters decked out in their safari gear at the Tusker House! Situated in the Africa section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Tusker House takes guests on a culinary safari worthy of discovery.

The buffet meal allows diners to meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy, all in their best safari outfits! Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, guests can enjoy items such as Braised Beef, Salmon Filets, and Tandoori Chicken. These items and more are available in the buffet, with breads, dips, and desserts. It’s also an eligible restaurant on the Disney Dining Plan.

  • Unique character dining with fun safari outfits
  • Options to take in breakfast, lunch, or dinner

Cons:

  • The menu may not appeal to pickier eaters
  • Pricey, although comparable to most character dining prices.
