Recipe Tips

  • Season Steak – Season the steak with a simple seasoning blend or marinate the steak.
  • Prepare Grill – Before placing the steak on the grill grates, make sure to preheat the gas grill to high heat and oil the grill.
  • Sear Steak – We like to sear the steak over direct heat for a few minutes and then finish cooking over indirect heat. This creates the best texture while slowing cooking the steak to the temperature you prefer.
  • Cooking Steak – Make sure to not overcook the steak. As your steak is resting, it will continue to cook. We usually cook the steak on a gas grill, charcoal grill, or an indoor grill.
  • Resting Steak – Rest the steak to lock in the juices before slicing the steak for the best flavor.
