  17. Do you need a separate ice cream maker for gelato? Because I just use my regular one (a Cuisinart). I’m sure it’s not the most authentic, but I still enjoy it. 🙂

    • I’m going to try that. I’ve been waiting to save up for one that makes Gelato and that is just not going to happen.

  18. That picture looks soooooo good. I have a little Cuisinart. You freeze the inner bowl and it takes less than an hour – I believe – to make ice cream. It’s not bad. I like that I don’t have salt and all of the other mess from the traditional ice cream makers.

  22. I have a NewAir AIC-210 Ice Cream Maker. It’s big and heavy, but it does such a great job making ice cream. We love homemade ice cream, I try not to make it too often because then I go overboard LOL.

  27. Your recipes look delicious! Iʻve been looking for some non dairy ice cream recipes to try (lactose intolerant, thatʻs me) since I got my hand crank ice cream maker from eBay. I like my Donvier hand crank ice cream maker, itʻs cute and retro, and itʻs portable. Great to bring when driving a couple hours to visit family, or when I have moms only night with my best friend. Iʻve only made one recipe with my ice cream maker so far, and I have the Kitchenaid Stand Mixer ice cream maker attachment on itʻs way to my house. Thereʻs tons of ice cream makers you can buy but I settled for those 2 since they got 4-point-something out of 5 on Amazon 🙂

    • Thanks for letting me know Stephanie 🙂 I still haven’t bought one but I know that as soon as summer hits, I’ll be craving ice cream again. I’ll check out the Donvier 🙂
